Part 2!
So if you don't know your US history, this makes less sense to you. Essentially, the Progressive Era was like, turn-of-the-20th-century-ish, where people went, "Hey guys, stuffs messed up. We should fix this." And then women got to vote and unions were made and alcohol was banned. Something along these lines I guess. I didn't retain much from history.
Bear with me. It gets funnier.
